My goal is for my household to be a bit over BA (have 2.12 times its expected net worth) by the time my DH is 50.

Starting Number (4/30/07) = 1.32 times expected net worth

First Year Quarterly Goals:
7/31/07 = 1.440 [Result: 1.510]
10/31/07 = 1.435 [Result: 1.569]
1/31/08 = 1.430 [Result: 1.541]
4/30/08 = 1.425 [Result: 1.400]

Second Year Quarterly Goals:
7/31/08 = 1.550 [Result = 1.515]
10/31/08 = 1.550
1/31/09 = 1.545
4/30/09 = 1.530

Chocolate fans - Time to go buy that Valentine's candy on clearance!

DH will be heading off to the store soon to buy 1/2-price gourmet chocolates. He buys the most generic-looking (un-Valentinesy) boxes he can find, and gives them to his customers when he travels overseas on business.

He usually buys a box for me too. And no, I don't mind one bit that it isn't presented on "the big day." In fact, I like knowing that he didn't pay full price. Society in general probably thinks we're unromantic, but I know you guys understand. Smile

Ah, I used to love to do that. Alas, after a severe cavity once (and is the same tooth that I had extracted not too long ago), it pretty much turned me off to too much sweets.

Funny, I was just thinking that I should take advantage of the after valentine's day sale on flowers because it would be nice to have some in the house. (We don't celebrate V-day at all because I think people should appreciate their significant relationships more often than once per year.)
